About me

I used to call myself a furniture who specialized in artistic pieces that tried to blend sculpture and form into functional pieces suitable for any home. While that is still true, my professional experience in architectural manufacturing and high -end hospitality furnishings has taught me the value of collaboration and clear intent. For me, design is more about conveying your intentions (or those of your clients) Vendors, This process may come with highs and lows, but I always strive for clarity at every stage of development.

Professional Career

The bulk of my career has been in large-scale architectural millwork where I collaborated with design teams, project managers, and outside vendors. My experiences have taught me to be decisive and critical when faced with new challenges. I excel with SolidWorks and other CAD programs, to design, detail, and program different features out of a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, and stone.

More recently I have worked as the lead senior case good designer in high-end hospitality furnisher. In this role I have been able to develop my own design standards, build the case goods department, work directly with high-end casinos/resorts, and coordinate with both domestic and international vendors. This has lead me to travel to both China and the USA where I worked directly with the manufacturing teams and clients.

Due to multiple NDAs most of my work cannot be published here, however projects I have been a part of can be made avalible upon request in an interview setting. Additionally, finished projects for both MCM2001 and Eventscape Inc. can be found within their respective portfolios websites. Some highlights include the GTAA Information Zone, the Kennedy Heath Greeter Desks, and the Stantec Office Pod Enclosures (Eventscape), as well as features for the Holly Blossom Temple, KPMB Architects Offices, and multiple Michael Hill store locations (MCM2001).
